Stats, dates & sources
Reviewed 13 September 2026. Records below refer to Italy’s men’s team, not to all nations combined.
- 101 World Cup points: listed by World Rugby’s Italy team spotlight as Italy’s all-time record. Last completed men’s World Cup: 2023.
- 215 Six Nations points and 9 tries: calculated from FIR’s pre-2026 totals of 210 points and 8 tries, plus his try (5 points) in Wales v Italy, 14 March 2026. His other 2026 Championship appearance, against England, added no points. Zebre’s April 2026 profile confirms he holds both Italian records.
- Second all-time / first active in points: all-time ranking confirmed by FIR’s pre-2026 review and Zebre’s April profile. FIR, 9 July 2026, confirms the active-player points and appearances leads.
- 91 caps: FIR records his 90th against Japan on 4 July 2026, followed by his appearance in New Zealand v Italy on 11 July. He did not play against Australia on 18 July.
- Three World Cups: 2015, 2019 and 2023, confirmed in Zebre’s player announcement.
Some published career aggregates conflict across sources. Combined club-and-country totals and an exact current Test-points total are therefore omitted.
